The Grand Appeal Sculpture Trails

The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity, are presenting another fab sculpture trail, ‘Gromit Unleashed 2’, in partnership with Aardman over the summer and I was lucky enough to paint two new sculptures. ‘Giggles’, a clown Gromit commemorating the 250th anniversary of the circus, will be on Weston-super-Mare Grand Pier, and ‘Merry-Go Gromit’, a pink and gold carousel Gromit, can be found at Puxton Park until 2nd September 2018. All proceeds from the trail help support The Bristol Children’s Hospital so please donate if you can!

I have painted a number of sculptures for The Grand Appeal’s award-winning previous trails, ‘Gromit Unleashed’ and ‘Shaun in the City’, which saw large Gromit and Shaun sculptures placed around Bristol and London.

My sculptures for the Shaun in the City trail were ‘Candy Baa’, situated in Covent Garden, and ‘Sparkles the Unicorn’, situated on Horfield Common, Bristol. For ‘Gromit Unleashed’ I created ‘Patch, situated in Clifton, Bristol and more recently, ‘Nutcracker’, a special Christmas 2016 Gromit available to win in a fundraising raffle!
